Thornford Village Hall

Our club enjoys an active programme of talks, visits to gardens, and social events throughout the year. The talks are given in Thornford Village Hall on the fourth Wednesday in February, March, April, September, October and November. They cover a wide range of subjects but are mainly connected directly to gardening.

Other social events are also held during the summer period, including evening visits to Dorset or Somerset Gardens, followed by a pub supper. There is often the opportunity to travel further afield for the day on a coach trip. In 2016 we visited RHS Rosemoor. A Social evening is always arranged for January with a Supper and Quiz.
